Photography in the Modern South: What does the "modern south" mean? For me, it means tradition with a twist. Think front porches, comfort food, bowties, nice manners...meets urban farming, pinterest projects, thrift store shopping, breaking the rules...and top it off with a little splash of "bless their heart." I live in Charleston (definitely the modern south), but am also available to travel worldwide.

Creek Club at I’On Wedding: Brittany & Chase

I had the honor of spending a few days with Brittany and Chase leading up to their Creek Club at I’On wedding, and it just added to the anticipation for the actual wedding day! (They also lucked out with amazing sunsets for all 3 nights of their wedding festivities!) These two were so sweet to each other, and spoke several times of how grateful they were for all of their family and friends that came to celebrate them. To top it all off, the TIGER came to party at their reception as well! A Clemson wedding is a good wedding in my book. 😉

Charleston Engagement Session: Sarah & Jared

Sarah and Jared are tying the knot at Lowndes Grove next year, but for now here are some of their Charleston engagement photos! Ever since I met these two for coffee months ago, I was impatiently waiting for their engagement shoot because they are so fun to hang out with! Charleston Engagement Session: Kelsey & Adrian

Kelsey and Adrian tried to warn me that they would be awkward being photographed, but by about my third frame I didn’t believe them. They rocked their downtown Charleston engagement session! These two are so at ease with one another and we had the best time laughing and walking around Charleston! One of the downsides of my job is how long I have to wait to see couples in between their engagement shoot and their wedding- (these two aren’t getting married till next fall!) I have so much fun with y’all it makes it hard to be patient until I see you again! 🙂 Hope you enjoy this sweet engagement shoot as much as I did-

Charleston Engagement: Angela & John

Happy Friday friends! Angela and John’s Charleston engagement session included stops both downtown and at Folly Beach (so we could include their sweet pup of course!). These two met at work (see good things can happen during your 9-5!) and are getting married next year! When they told me that they were Clemson fans and that they got their dog a bowtie, I knew they were good people. 😉
