ABOUT ME

LOCATION

I live in Nashville {and love it!}, but I am also available for travel around the Southeast. I love a good roadtrip! {I also love a good Southwest flight when the roadtrip is over 10 hours.:)} Typically, I shoot on location – whether that be a client’s house, park, city street, or dirt road. I love it when clients are up for an interesting location – so if you want something unique let me know!

LOVES

My husband. {aka ‘dreamy boyfriend’. Not to be confused with my other boyfriend, Mark the Second- aka ‘my camera.’} My fur-baby Buster the dog. He eats dirt. And toilet paper. And I love him. Coffee. I am not a fully functioning human being unless I have had a good bit of caffeine in the morning. My husband says I drink a “gallon.” Anthropologie. {Most. Beautiful. Clothes. Ever.} Pintrest. Its official, I am DIY addicted. Where else can you learn how to make 100 different types of fabric flowers, christmas ornaments out of light bulbs, and pallet furniture?  Cooking. I like to pretend that I am a Top Chef and cook as frequently as possible, despite the fact that I was on “toaster probation” when I was little for almost catching the kitchen on fire {sorry Mom!}  Books. Real ones…not the electronic kind. I like to underline, fold down the pages, and hold actual paper in my hands. I once accidentally ignored my husband for 3 days while I was reading “The Help.” Needless to say, he didn’t go see the movie with me. .Capturing memories for people through photographs. But most of all, I love that strangers become friends during the process.

Stephanie Wennerlund - Hey Aly,

My mother-in-law (Janet Wennerlund) got us a gift certificate for you for a newborn session. :) We are due Saturday, but if Baby is not here before then… We will induce next Wednesday, September 19th. I wanted to see when a good time would be for our newborn session. Janet said you mentioned trying to have it within the first 2 weeks. Please let us know when a good time would be and what your recommendations are for preparation. We just live in a small 2 bedroom condo.

Thanks so much!
Stephanie Wennerlund
